DWO Achham District Branch

DWO Achham Branch Office established in 1999, is one of the strongest district in terms of project implementation and experience in carrying out advocacy initiatives. It is actively involved in establishing just and fair society in Achham district. It is one of the remotest and underdeveloped district located in far western region of Nepal. It has proven record of implementation of advocacy and livelihood project. It has worked and has been working with International NGO such as Lutheran World Federation (LWF), DanChurchAid (DCA Nepal) and other local NGO and government agencies. It has outstanding experience in implementation of the project in the field of livelihood, economic empowerment, food security, advocacy and poverty eradication. Currently, DWO Achham district branch executive committee is led by Arjun Tamrakar. It has field office in Mangalsen, Achham district.

Completed Economic Empowerment The overall objective of the project was to augment food security and livelihood conditions of small land hold Dalit farmers at household level in order to mitigate the negative impact of the volatile food price in Far and mid western Nepal.
