DWO Surkhet District Branch

DWO Surkhet Branch Office established in...has proven experience in implementation of project related to food security, livelihood, Dalit empowerment and Child development and education. It has several years of project implementation and has been leading several campaign untouchability and gender discrimination in Surkhet district. It has field of in Birandranagar, capital city of Surkhet district. It has already worked and has been working closely with International NGO such as Save The Children, International Rescue Commitee (IRC), Practical Action, and other local NGO and government Agencies Currently the DWO Surkhet Committee led by Sanju Singh Bishwakarma.

Completed Economic Empowerment To improve land limitation and give food insecure families access to productive resources, especially cultivable land. To provide knowledge, technical and financial support to food insecure families with which they can have sufficient amount and diversity of food.

Stepping together for Education Program (STEP)

Completed Education To improve access to inclusive and quality education for children from Dalit and other marginalized group of Surkhet district.
