DWO Rupandhehi District Branch

Dalit Welfare Organization (DWO) Rupandehi Brach Office is one the active district branch working in the field of livelihood, economic development, poverty reduction, access to inclusive and quality education, food security, youth and women empowerment, child rights for Dalit and marginalized communities since its inception. Beside this, It has been actively advocating to eradicate caste based discrimination and untouchability and injustice in Rupandehi district. It has established partnership with International NGO such as Volunteers Service Overseas (VSO), Practical Action and other local government agencies such as District Education Office, District Development Committee for implementation of development and human rights related projects. The Rupandehi branch office has a elected branch executive committee led by Ram Subk Harijan. It has field office in Bhairahwa Municipality in Rupandehi district.

Completed Economic Empowerment To improve land limitation and give food insecure families access to productive resources, especially cultivable land. To provide knowledge, technical and financial support to food insecure families with which they can have sufficient amount and diversity of food.
