The project sought to reach children whose families were arrested, missing, injured, or killed due, children who had migrated or been displaced, children disabled from Nepal's internal conflict. It focused on children from Dalit and other ethnic minority groups from poor backgrounds and living in remote areas. Here are just some of the ways the project was implemented: Through working with teachers, management committees, parents, and students, 30 school improved their school plans. 246 schools received educational and sports material support, and 341 children received personal material support to help them continue their studies. A student health check up was conducted to educate about personal hygiene and followed up with delivery of medicines. 75 community psycho-social workers were trained to identify early signs of mental stress in children.
